Dagfrid Evensen was a Norwegian politician and editor, active in the Norwegian Communist Party. She grew up in Odda and became involved in the communist movement, later joining the Norwegian Communist Youth League. Evensen studied at the Lenin School in Moscow from 1928 to 1931 and returned to leadership roles within the youth organization. She was elected to the NKP central committee in 1945. After her husband was captured by Gestapo and died in 1944, she continued her political career into her retirement, participating in elections.
