Dagfinn Sakshaug (1928–2022) was a Norwegian jurist and public official from Steinkjer. He served as County Governor of Nord-Trøndelag from 1976 to 1994, his longest tenure. Sakshaug graduated with a degree in law from the University of Oslo in 1954 and held various positions, including secretary at the Ministry of Social Affairs and chief of the county office. In his free time, he conducted music bands and wrote local history. He received several honors, including the Gold Medal of the King and the KS Medal for his contributions.
