Czesława Szczep-Gaszewska was a Polish dancer and actress born on June 11, 1902, in Warsaw. She performed at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw from 1918 to 1939 and was an artist with the Warsaw Opera ballet. Notably, she established the first Terpsychora statuette, awarded during the International Dance Day. She passed away on August 7, 2003, in Warsaw and was buried on August 17, 2003, at Powązki Cemetery.
