Czesław Lenczowski (1905-1984) was a Polish painter and teacher known for his landscape and portrait paintings. He survived the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Flossenbürg concentration camps during World War II after being involved with ZWZ and AK. After the war, he resumed his studies and returned to Stary Sącz, where he created approximately 5,000 artworks. His notable commissions include works for local churches, and he also designed theater scenery, particularly for the Workers' Theatre in Nowy Sącz. Lenczowski was a member of the Association of Polish Artists.
