Czesław Krzyszowski was a division general of the Polish Army and a Doctor of Engineering, who served as the head of the Chemical Forces of the Ministry of National Defense from 1968 to 1988. Born on January 2, 1922, in Mikulińce, he pursued studies in engineering at Lviv University and faced imprisonment by the NKVD during WWII. After his military career, he became an author of numerous publications on chemical military forces and took part in developing defense technologies. He passed away on March 5, 2007, and is buried in Powązki Military Cemetery in Warsaw.
