Custódio Belo, born on August 8, 1951, is an East Timorese freedom fighter and politician. He is known by the aliases Alin Laek and Jaids Blayck. A member of the Popular Liberation Party (PLP), he engaged in the struggle against Indonesian occupation. Belo served as a political regional assistant and was responsible for the FALINTIL General Staff Secretariat. As interim president of the Commission for Honours, he oversees aid claims for former fighters. In 2017, he ran for parliament but did not succeed. He has received the Ordem da Guerrilha and Collar of the Ordem de Timor-Leste.
