Corstiaan Arjen Kleijwegt (born August 20, 1947) is a Dutch politician from the PvdA who served as a council member and alderman in Velsen, and later as mayor in Sliedrecht and Hellevoetsluis. He was born in Velsen-Noord and studied Dutch Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam. Kleijwegt held various educational roles before his political career, which began in 1978. He was also a temporary mayor in Goeree-Overflakkee in 2013. He was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau upon retirement in 2012.
