Cornelius 'Con' Linton was a New Zealand sailor born on January 9, 1938. He competed in the Soling class during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Kiel, where he finished in 21st place alongside helmsman Steve Marten and crew member Jack Scholes. Linton was educated at Nelson College from 1951 to 1952. He passed away at his home in Auckland on December 30, 2016.
