Colin Rattray was an Australian politician who served as an Independent member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council from 1992 to 2004, originally representing South Esk before transitioning to represent Apsley. Born in Scottsdale on December 28, 1931, he was also the Mayor of Ringarooma starting in 1981. Rattray's political career culminated in his retirement in 2004, after which his daughter Tania Rattray succeeded him. He passed away on February 19, 2009, at the age of 77.
