Clive Coles was an Australian rules footballer who played in the VFL for Geelong and St Kilda. He began his career with Geelong in the 1930s primarily as a back pocket and later transitioned to a forward role, notably scoring 24 goals in 1937, including four in the Grand Final victory against Collingwood. In 1938, he had his most successful season with 36 goals, the third-highest for Geelong. Coles moved to St Kilda in 1939, finishing his VFL career, before signing with Port Melbourne for 1940.
