Cláudio Villas-Bôas (December 8, 1916 – March 1, 1998) was a prominent figure in Brazilian indigenous politics, along with his brothers Orlando and Leonardo. They were followers of the ideal of protecting indigenous peoples as advocated by Marshal Cândido Rondon. The Villas-Bôas brothers were instrumental in establishing first contact between white people and the indigenous groups of the Xingu region, advocating for the rights and preservation of indigenous cultures.
