She holds a law degree from the University of Coimbra and has worked with various publications including A Tarde, Correio da Manhã, and Expresso. Clara is a cultural critic, television presenter, and author of several books. She directed Casa Fernando Pessoa and was a member of the jury for the Pessoa Prize. In 2011, she was invited to a Bilderberg Group meeting and returned to television in 2013 as a screenwriter for the youth series O Melhor dos Melhores.
