His early career included roles at companies like Pye and Sinclair Radionics, where he contributed to various products including electronic calculators and the Sinclair C5 vehicle. Curry also established Cambridge Processor Unit Ltd. in 1978 and co-founded Redwood Publishing in 1983. In 1985, he founded General Information Systems Ltd. and is active in new projects such as Care with Canary, announced in 2012.
