Born on November 18, 1907, in the village of Kuorka in the Transbaikal region, he became a prominent cultural figure. He was honored with titles such as People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1959 and Honored Artist of the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR in 1940. Geninov's work significantly impacted Buryat theater, and he remained an influential figure until his death in 1965 in Ulan-Ude.
