Jeong Wan-yong (November 11, 1919 – August 27, 2016) was a renowned South Korean poet known for his contributions to modern Sijo poetry. Born in Yeji-ri, Gimcheon, he debuted in 1960 and authored over 1,000 Sijo poems, solidifying his stature in Korean literary circles. He passed away at the age of 97 while receiving care in Gunpo and was buried in a wooded area near his hometown. In 2008, the Baeksu Literary Museum was established in Gimcheon to honor his legacy.
