Chiranjib Biswal is a former Indian cricketer and politician from Odisha, affiliated with the Indian National Congress. Born on January 2, 1963, he serves as the MLA for the 104-Jagatsinghpur constituency and is the deputy opposition leader of the Odisha assembly. The son of the late Basant Kumar Biswal, he has held various positions within the Congress party, including treasurer and vice president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, and played domestic cricket for the Odisha team from 1981/82 to 1983/84.
