Chintamoni Kar (April 19, 1915 – October 3, 2005) was a prominent Indian sculptor and painter. He was awarded civilian honors by both the Government of India and the French government. Additionally, he won a silver medal in the arts category at the Olympic Games held in 1948 representing Great Britain.
