Chinami Shimizu (born February 20, 1963) is a Japanese columnist from Tokyo. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, she worked at a computer company where she created a popular mailing questionnaire called 'Penda Kotsu Kai (OL Committee)'. She left her job in 1989 to establish Kasutera Co., Ltd. Shimizu is a mother of one son and one daughter. In November 2009, she suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, leading to surgery and a subsequent stroke, which resulted in aphasia.
