Chen Chunming (September 30, 1925 – May 15, 2018) was a prominent Chinese nutritionist and preventive medicine expert, born in Beijing and originally from Shicheng, Jiangxi. She was instrumental in conducting national nutritional surveys and played a key role in establishing China's first food hygiene standards. Throughout her career, she held several significant positions, including Director of the Institute of Hygiene of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Director of the Disease Prevention Bureau of the Ministry of Health, and the first President of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine.
