Chen Chung-hsin is a Taiwanese journalist, editor, and politician born on April 15, 1949. He studied mathematics at Tunghai University and began his journalism career with the Independence Daily Post. He served as editor for several publications and was involved in political activism, especially after the Kaohsiung Incident. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he was twice elected to the Legislative Yuan, advocating for reforms and engaging in Cross-Strait relations. After his legislative tenure, he focused on Taiwanese identity and national issues.
