Charles Olmeus is a Haitian former track and field athlete born on February 16, 1947. He notably competed in the 10,000 meters at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, where he finished well behind other competitors, completing his heat in 42:00.11. Olmeus was part of a controversial group of Haitian athletes during the Duvalier regime, known for some of the slowest times recorded in Olympic history. His performance, along with his teammates, gained infamy and notoriety for the extreme lag in finishing times.
