Charles Humphrey Keating III, known as C3, is an American former competitive swimmer and real estate executive, born on August 20, 1955. He represented the U.S. at the 1976 Summer Olympics in swimming. He was later convicted of fraud during the savings and loan crisis alongside his father, although the convictions were dismissed. His son, a Navy SEAL operator, tragically became the third American service member killed in Iraq while combating ISIL in 2016.
