Charles Deverson was an Australian cricketer born on November 2, 1905. He played three first-class matches for South Australia during the 1930/31 season and was known for his right-arm fast-medium bowling. Notably, he took the wickets of the legendary cricketer Donald Bradman twice in a single match. Deverson lived his entire life in Port Adelaide and played in the local Adelaide cricket competition. Tragically, he passed away suddenly at the age of 39, leaving behind a widow and four children.
