Chatham featured in a single first-class match for Worcestershire against Oxford University in May 1934, where he scored 8 and 4 runs, and took 1 wicket for 49 runs. His sole first-class wicket was that of Edward Moss. Chatham passed away on February 24, 1994, in Cheltenham at the age of 83.
