Chang Feng-hsu was a prominent Taiwanese politician born on August 5, 1928, in Pingtung County. He made significant contributions to local governance, beginning his career on the Taiwan Provincial Council. He became the Pingtung County Magistrate in 1964 and served as Mayor of Taipei from 1972 to 1973 while simultaneously holding the magistrate position. In 1976, he was appointed Minister of the Interior, and he remained in this role until 1978. He also led the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee from 1987 to 1998. He passed away on June 1, 2014, at the age of 85.
