Carlos Navarro Miquel, born on February 11, 1911, in Torrente de Cinca, was a Spanish priest of the Piarist order. He became a martyr during the Spanish Civil War, executed for his faith on September 22, 1936. Miquel studied theology and philosophy at Irache and dedicated himself to pastoral work in Albacete. His life was characterized by devotion, as he sought to emulate Jesus through prayer and work. He was beatified among a group of 13 Piarist martyrs, with his liturgical memorial observed on his death anniversary.
