Carlos Agostinho do Rosário is a Mozambican politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Mozambique since January 17, 2015. A member of the FRELIMO party, he works under President Filipe Nyusi. From the 1970s, he held various positions, including Governor of Zambézia from 1987 to 1994. He was elected as a deputy during the 1994 general elections and later served as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries until 1999. He also worked as a diplomat in Asia, with his last role being Ambassador to Indonesia before becoming Prime Minister.
