Carl William Torbush Jr. (1951-2023) was an American football and baseball coach. He was the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University in 1987, the University of North Carolina from 1997 to 2000, and East Tennessee State University from 2013 to 2017, achieving a football record of 31-48. Additionally, Torbush was head baseball coach at Southeastern Louisiana University from 1977 to 1979, with a record of 75-58. He retired from coaching in December 2017.
