Calum 'Ruadh' MacNeacail (March 19, 1902 – March 25, 1978) was a crofter from Gead an t-Sailleir in the Isle of Skye, known as 'The Bard of Skye.' He became famous for his contribution to Scottish Gaelic music and poetry. Calum was married to Peigi NicCalum from Camus Tianabhaig and served in the Air Force during World War II. He learned many traditional songs from his mother, Anna 'Ruadh', and composed a significant amount of poetry, with some of it published in the 1970s.
