Bruce C. Ratner is an American real estate developer and chairman of Forest City Ratner. Born on January 23, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, he is also a part owner of the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. Ratner graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School. He facilitated the move of the Nets to Brooklyn's Barclays Center after the 2011/12 NBA season, which features a multi-purpose arena designed by Frank Gehry.
