Bror Gotthard Ludvig Edström (1920-2003) was a Swedish songwriter and social inspector. Born in Blekinge, he began writing at a young age and worked at a local newspaper as a teenager. He joined the Stockholm sobriety board in 1957, where he served as a social worker and inspector. In his spare time, he wrote poetry, produced radio programs, and published reviews in Christian publications. Edström was active in the church and had many of his songs recorded by various artists, contributing significantly to Swedish Christian music.
