Brita Hedvig Elisabet af Geijerstam was a Swedish author, translator, and dance educator born on March 20, 1902, in Västra Sönnarslöv, Skåne and died on September 9, 2003, in Bromma. She is best known for her Swedish translations of A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books. In addition to translation, she wrote songbooks, prose, and poetry for all ages. Her later works include poetry collections 'Vad är kärlek' (1999) and 'Nära' (2002). She served as a summer host on the radio in 2002.
