Boyd Davies Oxlade was an Australian rugby union international flanker, born on 10 May 1914 in Brisbane. He was the son of Wallabies captain Allen Oxlade and played for Eagle Junction, winning three premierships before moving to GPS in 1938. Oxlade represented the Wallabies three times against the All Blacks during the 1938 tour in Australia. He was also selected for the 1939–40 tour of Britain and Ireland, which was cut short due to the outbreak of World War II. His son, Boyd, became an author known for 'Death in Brunswick'.
