Boris Grigoryevich Sorokin (June 18, 1924 – September 9, 1997) was a Soviet artilleryman and a participant in the Great Patriotic War. He was recognized for his bravery and outstanding service during the war, earning the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, one of the highest honors for military accomplishments in the Soviet Union.
