Bohumír Bocian (also known as Bohumír Strohalm) was a recognized Czech painter born on October 5, 1912, in Slavkov and passed away on February 28, 2002. From 1938, he lived and created in Paris, showcasing his oil paintings, watercolors, and graphic works in multiple exhibitions across France, the USA, Africa, Asia, and recently in the Czech Republic. A fragment of his work is part of a permanent exhibition in Slavkov. Bocian's body was buried in a cemetery in Slavkov after his death.
