Bohdan Serhiyovych Kovalenko, pseudonym 'Hercules', was a senior soldier and gunner-operator in the 2nd reconnaissance platoon of the 1st battalion of the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the Russo-Ukrainian War. Born on January 2, 1998, in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv Oblast, he tragically lost his life on June 18, 2020, in Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast.
