Bobby Nichols, born Robert Nichols on September 15, 1924, in Boston, was an American jazz trumpeter. He played with the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band from 1943 to 1945. Afterward, he performed with several orchestras, including Tex Beneke from 1946 to 1947, Ray McKinley in 1948, and Tommy Dorsey in 1951. From 1952 to 1963, he also worked as a studio musician while being a member of the Sauter-Finnegan orchestra.
