Robert 'Bob' Lawrence Nichols, born on January 27, 1948, in Superior, Wisconsin, is an American curler. He made his international debut at the 1974 World Championship in Bern, winning the gold medal. Nichols served as the skip for the U.S. team at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and as an alternate at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Nagano, where his team won a bronze medal after a 9:2 victory against Canada. However, this medal did not have official status as curling was a demonstration sport at that time.
