Blake Desjarlais is a Canadian politician of Cree and Métis descent, representing Edmonton Griesbach in the House of Commons since 2021 as a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP). He is notable for being Alberta's only Indigenous member of Parliament and also the first openly two-spirit individual to serve as an MP. His election highlights the representation of Indigenous peoples in Canadian politics.
