Bjørn Tveter, born on June 13, 1944, is a former Norwegian speed skater who competed in the 1500 m event at the 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics, finishing fifth and fourth. He won a bronze medal at the 1968 World Allround Championships. In 1973, he joined the professional skating league, where he claimed gold medals at the 1974 Professional European Allround Championships. The league was dissolved that same year. Tveter's younger brother Øyvind also participated in the Olympics as a speed skater.
