Biwa Hayahide established himself as one of the strongest horses in 1994, claiming victories in the Tenno Sho (Spring) and Takarazuka Kinen. Despite his strong rivalry with Narita Brian, he retired due to an injury before a highly anticipated race. He achieved a record of 10 wins in 16 races, with a notable streak of 15 consecutive placings.
