Bisera Turković is a Bosnian diplomat and politician born on December 8, 1954, in Sisak. She has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2019 and is the first female foreign minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Turković holds a law degree from the University of Sarajevo and a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Administration from Phillip Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, along with a Ph.D. in international relations. She has held several significant positions, including ambassador to the United States and Minister for European Integration.
