He was recognized as a convicted murderer and suspected serial killer linked to the deaths of elderly women in the Dallas, Texas area. Chemirmir faced indictment for 22 murders and was convicted in two cases. Additionally, civil lawsuits were initiated against him tied to two other murders. In September 2023, Chemirmir was reported dead while in prison.
