William 'Bill' Harriott was a Canadian alpine skier born on July 4, 1958, in Windsor, Ontario. He was an amputee and was a member of the Canadian national team from 1986 to 2003, competing in seven Winter Paralympics. Initially a skier, he later served as a guide for Christopher Williamson. Harriott and Williamson won a gold medal at the 2002 Winter Paralympics in Salt Lake City. Harriott was married and had two children. He passed away on March 21, 2011, due to a heart attack.
