William Everett Albans (1925-1990) was a notable American athlete known for competing in the men's triple jump at the 1948 Summer Olympics and being part of the USA squad for the 1952 Summer Olympics. In addition to his jumping prowess, he was a strong sprinter, recording a personal best of 9.5 seconds for 100 yards. Albans also showcased his athletic talents in rugby league, participating in the USA team during the 1953 American All Stars tour of Australia and New Zealand.
