Big George Brock was an influential American blues musician born on May 16, 1932, in Mississippi. He moved to Missouri in the 1950s, where he opened a number of nightclubs that contributed to the blues scene. Brock had the opportunity to perform with legendary artists such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, and Albert King. His life and career were chronicled in the documentary film 'Hard Times', released in 2006. He passed away on April 10, 2020.
