Bharatsinh Madhavsinh Solanki, born on November 26, 1953, is an Indian politician who served as the president of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee. He held the position of Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation in the Second Manmohan Singh ministry until May 2014. Solanki was also Minister of State for Power and worked as Secretary at the All India Congress Committee from 2004 to 2006. He won elections in 2004 and 2009 but lost in 2014 to BJP's Dilipbhai Patel.
