Bertil Ekholtz (1915-2013) was a Swedish photographer known for his portrait photography and landscape images. He began his career in the 1930s capturing portraits before expanding into commercial photography for the forestry industry and documenting significant industrial constructions. Best known for his extensive collection of city motifs from his hometown Umeå, his work offers a visual record of the city's evolution from the 1930s to the late 1990s. Ekholtz's photographic collection, consisting of over 50,000 negatives, is held at Bildmuseet and Västerbottens museum.
