Bernhard Kummel (August 13, 1919 – 1980) was a prominent American geologist and paleontologist. He served as a professor of geology at Harvard University from 1952 to 1980 and was the curator of invertebrate paleontology at the Museum of Comparative Zoology from 1963. He co-authored a volume on ammonites in the Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology in 1957 and conducted extensive research on ammonites and nautiloids from regions such as Pakistan, India, Nepal, and Iran.
