Behgjet Pacolli is a Kosovar politician and businessman born on August 30, 1951, near Pristina. He became a Swiss citizen and entered business at the age of 17 during the former Yugoslavia. He was elected as the President of Kosovo on February 22, 2011, with 62 out of 120 votes in the third round of voting, supported by a coalition with Hashim Thaçi's Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR). However, the Constitutional Court annulled the elections on March 30, 2011, leading to his resignation.
